Faceted Garnet set into a self-collected egg-shaped River Rock collected in Appalachia. The back depicts a dragon flying downstream, with a crescent moon amongst a cloudy sky. Around the river rock, two small stacks of silver depict either the Dragon's treasured hoard, or a pile of river rocks. You decide.. The sides of the locket are a fused dust "stardust" texture. Handcrafted clasp, handle with care.
Pendant is 1.6" long, 1" wide, and the depth inside of the locket is 0.3125". Comes with a 20" oxidized sterling silver chain, and the toggle clasp is made from a cast twig branch. The pendant is reversible.
All cast thorns, twigs and other nature bits are collected near my home in Appalachia and cast in small batches in my home studio. These pieces of nature are immortalized in silver.
