Faceted Garnet set into a self-collected River Rock collected in Appalachia. The back depicts detailed crow, a mugwort leaf, with a crescent moon and tiny star. The sides of the locket are a fused dust "stardust" texture. Handcrafted clasp, handle with care.
Inside the locket are a brass tree silhouette, as well as a copper key motif, furthering the nature magic vibe of this locket.
Pendant is just under 1.75" long (including the bail), 1.25" wide, and the depth inside of the locket is 0.1875" (3/16"). Comes with a 22" oxidized sterling silver chain, and the toggle clasp is made from a cast twig branch. The pendant is reversible.
All cast thorns, twigs and other nature bits are collected near my home in Appalachia and cast in small batches in my home studio. These pieces of nature are immortalized in silver.
