Sterling silver hand fabricated spinner pendant featuring hand carved mushroom and slug double-sided chip by Sage Morgan of Grumpy Dwarf Pottery. The mushroom chip spins within an ancient bronze twig. As the twig ages, it will begin to look more and more like a real twig, as it takes on a richer, deeper golden brown hue. The pendant hangs at an angle just ever so slightly, much like a globe is slightly tilted.
Pendant is just over 2" long and just over 1.5" wide. Comes with a blackened 22" sterling silver chain and handmade clasp. The darkened areas of the chain will also begin to wear away as you wear it, revealing flashes of silver against black. Overall the pendant is made to age and change, wearing into it's personality.
All cast thorns, twigs and other nature bits are collected near my home in Appalachia and cast in small batches in my home studio. These pieces of nature are immortalized in metal.
